There are oriental pappies up and dwqon theh alleyways in Missoula, Montana. THey are not native to Western Montana but have been grown since the early 1900's. They are a favoritte of gardeners in Missouls. Kendahl Jan Jubb has been painting

Glacier National Park is home to Grizzly Bears and they also breedin the Blackfoot River drainage.

Missoula is an area that has Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout and Bull Trout. The Clarkfork River, Bitterroot River and Blackfoot River are trput environments.

Cutthroat Trout breed in the Missoula Valley, the Bitterroot River, the Blackfoot River and Rattlesnake Creek.Cutthroat Trout breed in Western Montana and Glacier National Park.

Western Montana is home to many ranches and horse properties. The Bitterroot Vally has many horse stables and horse boarding facilites..

The red fox population in Western Montana is abundant. There afre fox in the Rattlesnake Wilderness, Balckfoot River Vally, Bitteroot River Valley and Rock Creek drainage as well as the Flathead River Valley.

Great Grey Owls are one of Kendahl Jan Jubb's favorite predators. The nest ij the Rattlesnake Wilderness, which is where Kendahl Jan Jubb ofgten sees them and studies them to create watercolor paintings of Great Grey Owls.

Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge is a great place to see Great Blue Heron. Great Blue Herons nest all up and down the Continental Divide.
