Trout Paintings
Kendahl Jan Jubb's trout paintings are
derived from her direct observation of Montana's blue ribbon trout streams.
Her trout artwork has an unmistakable vive infused throughout the water,
rocks and trout themselves. She pays special tribute to the motion of the
swirling subjects in her trout art. Kendahl also devotes considerable
attention to the koi ponds of the Pacific coast. Koi paintings are a large
part of her motif and a topic she is in alignment with, since water, florals,
and fish have all been exemplified in her artwork for twenty-five years. Koi
artwork, although somewhat new to Kendahl, has become one of her most
commissioned topics.
