Songbird Paintings
Kendahl Jan Jubb's favorite outdoor
activity is bird watching. Her bird paintings are a reflection of time spent
hiking, observing and listening. Kendahl has worked in the field from
Florida to the Orkneys. She has done extensive research on warblers,
especially yellow warblers, and thrushes, in particular and
although chickens are not songbirds, they hold a special fascination.
Kendahl was chosen as the poster artist for the first three "Partners in
Flight" posters by the Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Bird artwork comprises
some of her earliest work and most numerous natural topics.
