Bear Paintings
Kendahl Jan Jubb's bear paintings are alive and
vibrant in watercolor. Her black bear, and grizzly bear watercolor subjects are
inspired by, but not limited to, the animals of the Pacific Northwest. Bear
paintings, both grizzly and black bears represent the overt power and will of
the human spirit, as well as the inherent, imminent and inevitable danger.
Kendahl lives among black bears in western Montana. Grizzly bear paintings,
although she does not encounter grizzlies around her home, archetypically are
the utmost expression of energy, fierceness, and independence.
